I personally feel that the best of Jyotish Vidya is to acknowledge the role of the choices (with awareness or with ignorance ) made by the self to be in a position that we are in the present moment and also to take future decisions with love , compassion and forgiveness . To seek superficial remedies to get out of the mess that one is in is to remain in ignorance forever besides it never really helps. In the physical world, everything is bound by the simple law of cause and effect. Nothing is beyond that , even when Gods has to do something that have to take avatar and have to go through what every human being has to go through . In physical existence there is no magic tricks and miracles, everything is within the laws of cause and effect. Magic is miracle is for the ignorant ones. Here in this world, you get what you sow. So when you begin to get the effect of your own karma or when karma hits you back, you feel shocked and surprised. Because most of the decisions that you made, were made in ignorance, without being aware of the full impact of your own actions. I personally believe the real effect of any Planet - exalted, strong, and normal or in debilitation is felt during its Mahadasa. The effect of a particular planet gives are pronounces during its Mahadasa ( Major period ) and Annterdasa bhukti ( Sub periods ). My assessment of a Chart of my readings are based on Gochar means transit + Mahadasa according to Planet , Nakshtra , Nakshtra Pada and Age + Planets and how they are originally placed in the natal chart . I extensively use dasamsa ( d-10 ) and Navamsa ( d-9 ) in predicting marriage , Partnerships , Career , Profession, Public image or Perception about the person which is critical to determine fame of the person and career success and general tendencies.
